I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 41 years old. Wow that makes it almost nine years now!When I was diagnosed it took a lot of work by me to find out what the heck this disease did to me. I left the doctors office knowing next to nothing about diabetes. All he did was diagnose me, give me meds, told me how to use a meter and sent me off! How was that, newly diagnosed, here's the stuff to help you get better and let me know how these things do for you! I was bewildered, not knowing all the why's and how's of this. So I went out of there and started to look up everything I could to find out about diabetes. It took me about eight months to research, explore, subscribe and talk to other diabetics to get a handle on what was going on. My hope is that in this site you will be able to find everything you need here to help you understand and manage your diabetes. It takes time to write and put up web pages here, plus all the research to find good products for you. So please understand and give me the time I need to put it all together.
